Meet the luckiest man in Milton!
Steve Rasile won a brand new Volkswagen Taos when he rolled up the rim to win! He says the win came at the best time in his life.
Rasile drives a truck for GFL in Milton. He says he was thankful for the company allowing him to use a company vehicle during what was admittedly a very hard time for him. While he was already a big supporter of Tims, this only adds to his fandom!
The car was picked up at the Tim Hortons at Thompson Road and Louis St. Laurent Avenue in Milton. The team at Milton Volkswagen was able to bring it over for Steve. Also on-hand for the presentation were Milton Mayor Gord Krantz and Town Councillor for Ward 3, Rick Di Lorenzo.
The Tim Hortons location is run by Daniel Sdao and his parents. He says this kind of Roll up the Rim win is a first in his time with Tim Hortons. He’s excited to see the car go to someone in Milton, and assures that it’s 100% paid for.
After a quick rundown from the Milton Volkswagen team on how all the buttons in the new vehicle worked, Rasile was able to drive the bright blue crossover SUV off into figurative sunset.
