The Town of Milton is raving over the results from Earth Day 2022.
In a tweet, the Town says Milton residents collected over 40 bags of garbage from parks, trails & ponds. Other big stats included:
- Volunteers gathered 80 bags of litter on the April 16 cleanup day; and,
- More than 9,300 students participated to collect 160 bags of garbage.
The Town then thanked a number of different people and organizations, including the HDSB and Sustainable Milton.
