The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show an additional death in the totals. Milton is at 64 deaths total. Oakville 100 deaths total. Halton Hills is at 66. Burlington is at 126. Halton is now at 356 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 227 new cases coming out of the weekend. The total number of cases is up to 48,411. There have been 1,239 total hospitalizations in Halton and 356 deaths.
In Milton, we had 49 new cases since Friday. That brings us to 13,037 total cases. There have been 293 total hospitalizations in Milton and 64 deaths.
There are three outbreaks in Milton:
- Congregate living facility known as ‘Congregate Living – 139’
- Milton District Hospital – 2 North Regional Unit
- Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital – 3 South Pod 300
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,313,068 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,168,017 of the doses were to Halton residents.
Here’s a breakdown on ages of those receiving doses:
- 65,500 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
- 103,709 total doses have been administered to people aged 12-17;
- 106,691 total doses have been administered to people aged 18-24;
- 68,712 total doses have been administered to people aged 25-29;
- 80,206 total doses have been administered to people aged 30-34;
- 93,449 total doses have been administered to people aged 35-39;
- 100,424 total doses have been administered to people aged 40-44;
- 105,504 total doses have been administered to people aged 45-49;
- 106,218 total doses have been administered to people aged 50-54;
- 101,382 total doses have been administered to people aged 55-59;
- 90,106 total doses have been administered to people aged 60-64;
- 77,766 total doses have been administered to people aged 65-69;
- 72,866 total doses have been administered to people aged 70-74;

- 171 total additional doses are pending.
