A recent advisory from Health Canada warns of serious harm due to the ingestion of copycat edibles.
South Simcoe Police Staff Sergeant Dave Phillips says cannabis is not for children and should not be packaged in a way to encourage them to eat the contents.

Staff Sergeant Phillips says unregulated products can contain much higher or lower levels of THC than marked on the package, leading to an unexpected reaction.
He also says they may contain high levels of pesticides and fertilizers.
