Burlington’s Robin Duncan now gets to find out how she can go with an extra seven figures in her pocket. She matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the March 8th LOTTO MAX draw to win $1 million.
She’s been playing for ten years, and says she was shocked when she saw the news. “I saw Big Winner appear on the screen and I thought I won $1,000 at first. I started comparing the numbers and I realized I won $1 million… I was in shock!”
Robin plans to put her win towards her retirement, and maybe even enjoy a trip to somewhere warm. “I will celebrate with a trip to the beach to relax in the sun.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Lotto Centre on Upper Wentworth Street in Hamilton.
