Multiple people have been hospitalized, one with serious injuries, following a head-on collision in Halton Hills.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says at 6:36 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9th, a white Honda minivan and a white Volkswagen Golf were involved in a head-on collision on Fourth line, north of 5 Side Road. One driver was transported to Hamilton Trauma Center with life threatening injuries. The other driver and passengers were transported to Milton District Hospital for assessment and treatment of non-life threatening injuries. A third vehicle was unable to avoid the aftermath of the collision and sustained minor damage to their vehicle.
Due to the serious nature of the injuries, members of the Collision Reconstruction Unit took carriage of the investigation. Collision Reconstructionists and Forensic identification Officers examined and documented the scene. The involved section of Fourth Line remained closed for investigation until cleared at roughly 1:00 a.m..
