The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says a vehicle was caught going 59 km/h over the speed limit.
Not much is known about the driver nor the vehicle, but it appears to have been a black Volkswagen Golf hatchback. It was stopped after being clocked in at 119 km/h in a 60-zone.
The location was not shared, but the incident was tweeted by the Milton-Halton Hills Halton Police Twitter account, so that narrows it down to North Halton.
The driver had their car impounded and licence suspended.
