It appears the incoming warm temperatures and drizzling rain won’t stop Glen Eden from opening its slopes.
The Milton ski hill announced on Twitter on Friday that it will be opening on Monday, December 27th for Snow School and Passholders only. It adds that it “will open with extremely limited terrain, consisting of 2 learning centres with 1 carpet each, and 1 graduate run, Twister, serviced by the Updraft chairlift.” Lift tickets won’t be available to the public for now, and passholders must make a reservation.
Well, it looks like some of you made the nice list this year!🎅 We are excited to announce that despite Mother Nature’s lack of cooperation, Glen Eden will be opening on December 27 for Snow School and Passholders only. pic.twitter.com/Ai2qupEkrK

The Conservation Halton property apologized to residents for this announcement not quite living up to their expectations, but has high hopes that the artificial snow team will create an excellent product.
We know this isn’t the opening announcement we all hoped for, but we're confident that our snowmaking team will continue to work their magic to add more terrain to open to the public ASAP. We'll continue to update you on our progress on our social media channels and website.
