The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has administered over 1-million doses of a COVID vaccine to residents.
The Chief Medical Officer of Health feels this is best protection you can against the virus.
But with no end in sight to the pandemic, Dr. Charles Gardner says the immediate future is not looking all that great.

Dr. Gardner believes vaccines are still the best line of protection at coming out of this pandemic, despite the fact that residents are developing breakthrough cases.
