The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says two robberies took place across Georgetown and Milton on Thursday, December 16th and the suspects are believed to be the same people.
On Thursday, December 16th at 5:45 p.m., officers were called to the Kings Cove Pharmacy at 156 Guelph Street in Georgetown for a robbery that had just occurred. Three suspects, one armed with a knife, entered the pharmacy and confronted the lone store employee demanding narcotics. During the confrontation, the employee was assaulted but was not injured. The suspects ransacked the store and quickly fled to an awaiting dark coloured newer vehicle (no confirmation on make, model or licence plate). The vehicle fled prior to police arrival
A short time later at 6:30 p.m., the same suspects entered the Glen Eden Pharmacy located at 400 Bronte Street South in Milton and, again, confronted the lone store employee. The female employee was pushed to the ground while the suspects demanded narcotics and ransacked the store. No vehicle was observed in this incident, but police believe the same suspects are responsible for both robberies.
All suspects are described by the HRPS as being male, black, between roughly 15 to 17-years of age, all about 5’8″, average builds, wearing dark coloured hoodies and track pants and dark face coverings.
