The Town of Milton says a local road is expected to remain in a full closure until at least Christmas Eve.
A full temporary closure of Campbell Avenue East between Campbellville Road to Canyon Road has been extended to December 24th. This project began back in July. Workers are reconstructing the intersections at Campbell Avenue East and Campbellville Road and at Campbell Avenue East and Canyon Road.
The Town provided the following detour information:
- Northbound traffic – Follow Canyon Road to Limestone Road, then follow Limestone Road to Appleby Line.
- Southbound traffic – Take Appleby Line to Limestone Road, then follow Limestone Road to Canyon Road. Or take Campbellville Road to Guelph Line.
The project details are as follows:
- Full road excavation
- Storm drainage maintenance
- Roundabout at Campbellville Road and Campbell Avenue East, including illumination
- Landscaping (trees, shrubs and seeding)
