The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says a vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a creek bed along a Milton road.
This happened just after 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14th along Limestone Road, west of Macarthur Drive. The crash closed a section of Limestone Road.
The vehicle had reportedly been submerged in the water on its roof. The driver, a 35-year-old woman, was rescued and taken to Milton District Hospital with life threatening injuries. She remains there in critical condition.
Due to the severity of the collision, the Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the scene and assumed responsibility for the investigation. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.

A vehicle has gone off the road along Limestone Road in Milton, causing a road closure in the area.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says the incident happened west of Canyon Road.
Residents are asked to take an alternate route at this time.
