The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton have been released.
Across Halton, there are 74 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 20,892. With 20,350 resolved cases and 245 deaths, Halton is at 297 active cases, 39 than Thursday. The Region says that of the 20,892 total cases, 20,165 were confirmed positive while 727 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have 13 new cases. That brings us to 6656 total cases. With 6521 resolved cases and 47 deaths, Milton is at 88 active cases, the same as Thursday’s update. The Region says that of the 6656 total cases, 6401 were confirmed positive while 255 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 7950 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2577 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 84 cases being reported – 30 are non-Halton cases, 52 are residents, and two are staff cases. It was first declared on Thursday, November 4th.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 918,479 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 822,769 of the doses were to Halton residents.
461,713 second doses have been administered in Halton. 411,285 of those have been Halton residents.

- 22,969 first doses and 22,474 second doses have been administered to people aged 70-74;
- 17,342 first doses and 17,175 second doses have been administered to people aged 75-79;
- 24,739 first doses and 24,531 second doses have been administered to people aged 80+; and,
- 17,182 first doses and 1403 second doses are pending.
The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 84,883 first doses and 111,128 second doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,878 first doses and 10,110 second doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 358,005 first doses and 340,475 second doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
