Students interested in working in the trades are invited to learn about apprenticeships.
Parents with students enrolled in the Simcoe County District School Board in grades 7 through 12 can take part in an interactive online session Thursday (dec2) evening at 7 called Let’s Get Started.
Participants will explore all 140 skilled trades available to them and how they can start training for a career while still in school.
The Provincial government is spending $90-million dollars to promote the trades as one third of current tradespeople are nearing their retirement.
