The Milton Fire Department is getting a boost from Enbridge.
Enbridge Gas is helping the Milton Fire Department purchase firefighting training materials, through Safe Community Project Assist.
This year’s $250,000 donation from Enbridge Gas will be shared by 50 Ontario fire departments, including the Milton Fire Department.
“At Enbridge Gas, safety is our priority. We’re proud to support Ontario firefighters who share our commitment to keeping our communities safe,” said Murray Costello, Director, Southeast Region Operations, Enbridge Gas.
“As Milton grows, it’s essential to provide firefighters and first responders with essential training and resources to keep our community safe,” said Milton Fire Chief Peter Gatto. “This generous donation from Enbridge’s Safe Community Project Assist program will help to continue meeting the training needs of our department.”
Funds will be used to purchase educational materials for firefighters to enhance life-saving techniques.
