The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton have been released.
Across Halton, there are 23 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 20,308. With 19,932 resolved cases and 243 deaths, Halton is at 133 active cases, five more than Wednesday. The Region says that of the 20,308 total cases, 19,588 were confirmed positive while 720 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have four new cases. That brings us to 6460 total cases. With 6383 resolved cases and 46 deaths, Milton is at 31 active cases, two more than Wednesday’s update. The Region says that of the 6460 total cases, 6208 were confirmed positive while 252 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 7732 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2522 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 24 cases being reported – nine are non-Halton cases, 13 are residents, and two are staff cases. It was first declared on Thursday, November 4th.
An outbreak has been reported at a Milton school. It is at Milton Quran Institute. There are nine cases being reported: seven are Halton cases and two are non-Halton cases. It was first declared on Tuesday, November 23rd.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 900,308 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 806,298 of the doses were to Halton residents.
459,689 second doses have been administered in Halton. 409,769 of those have been Halton residents.

- 17,332 first doses and 17,160 second doses have been administered to people aged 75-79;
- 24,722 first doses and 24,513 second doses have been administered to people aged 80+; and,
- 2032 first doses and 1386 second doses are pending.
The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 81,031 first doses and 109,440 second doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,899 first doses and 10,143 second doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 345,689 first doses and 340,106 second doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
