Third COVID-19 vaccinations shots or boosters are being offered by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
Currently residents over the age of 70, front line health care workers, those who received 2 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine and First Nations residents are eligible
Dr. Charles Gardner is the Chief Medical Officer of Health.
He says the province has noted there has been a limited number of people signing up for the booster, even though it is being made widely available through walk-in and pop up clinics.
