COVID-19: 5 New Positive Cases in South Simcoe


The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 5 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe in the last day (nov 17).

  • 2 Bradford West Gwillimbury
  • 1 Essa
  • 1 Innisfil
  • 1 New Tecumseth

There were 50 confirmed cases in Simcoe County, with 29 of those in Barrie, plus 1 whose municipality is listed as Pending

There are now 75 active cases in South Simcoe, down 9 since Wednesday (nov 17) with 5 cases in hospital which is unchanged.

The health unit continues to show 87% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 84% fully vaccinated.
