COVID-19: 14 Positive Cases Recorded in South Simcoe


The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 14 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe in the last day (nov 16).

  • 1 Essa
  • 3 Innisfil
  • 6 New Tecumseth

There were 67 confirmed cases in Simcoe County, with 36 of those in Barrie.

There are now 84 active cases in South Simcoe, up 9 since Tuesday (nov 16) with 5 cases in hospital which is unchanged.

The health unit continues to show 87% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 84% fully vaccinated.
