We have the latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton.
Across Halton, there are 12 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 20,154. With 19,826 resolved cases and 243 deaths, Halton is at 85 active cases, three less that Tuesday. The Region says that of the 20,154 total cases, 19,439 were confirmed positive while 715 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have two new cases. That brings us to 6428 total cases. With 6357 resolved cases and 46 deaths, Milton is at 25 active cases, four less than Tuesday’s update. The Region says that of the 6428 total cases, 6177 were confirmed positive while 251 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 7681 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2512 total variant cases.
An outbreak at a Milton workplace has closed. It was listed only as ‘workplace – 164’. There were three reported cases. All three were considered Halton cases. It was first declared on Wednesday, November 10th. It closed on Monday, November 15th.
An outbreak has been reported at a Milton school. It’s at Holy Rosary (Milton) Catholic Elementary School. It was first reported by the Halton Region on Wednesday, October 27th. There are three cases being reported. All are considered Halton cases, meaning they are Halton residents.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 18 cases being reported – six are non-Halton cases and 12 are residents.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 898,516 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 804,476 of the doses were to Halton residents.
457,972 second doses have been administered in Halton. 408,377 of those have been Halton residents.
