COVID-19: 8 New Cases Recorded in South Simcoe


The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 8 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe in the last day (nov 15).

  • 2 Bradford West Gwillimbury
  • 1 Essa
  • 2 Innisfil
  • 3 New Tecumseth

There were 39 confirmed cases in Simcoe County, with 24 of those in Barrie.

There are now 75 active cases in South Simcoe, down 16 since Monday (nov 15) with 5 cases in hospital which is unchanged.

The health unit continues to show 87% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 84% fully vaccinated.
