The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton are now available.
Across Halton, there are ten new cases. The total number of cases is up to 19,957. With 19,637 resolved cases and 243 deaths, Halton is at 77 active cases, the same as Tuesday and Wednesday’s updates. The Region says that of the 19,957 total cases, 19,257 were confirmed positive while 700 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have four new cases. That brings us to 6359 total cases. With 6293 resolved cases and 46 deaths, Milton is at 20 active cases, three cases more than Wednesday’s update. The Region says that of the 6359 total cases, 6115 were confirmed positive while 244 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region has updated its definition of variant cases to align with Provincial reporting. The number of variant cases will be higher on Tuesday, November 2nd due to this reporting update. It is says that 7567 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2473 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been reported at a Milton school. It’s at Holy Rosary (Milton) Catholic Elementary School. It was first reported by the Halton Region on Wednesday, October 27th. There are two cases being reported (the minimum for an outbreak). Both are considered Halton cases, meaning they are Halton residents.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 891,849 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 799,309 of the doses were to Halton residents.
453,708 second doses have been administered in Halton. 404,931 of those have been Halton residents.

- 24,723 first doses and 24,452 second doses have been administered to people aged 80+; and,
- 1987 first doses and 1318 second doses are pending.
The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 79,476 first doses and 105,674 second doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,897 first doses and 10,100 second doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 344,768 first doses and 337,934 second doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
