The Ontario government’s plan to raise the minimum wage hike is being met with mixed reactions.
Unifor and OPSEU called it a good start, the N-D-P and Liberals called it an election ploy.
Both the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business have said the change comes at a terrible time, as many businesses continue to grapple with the ongoing impacts of the pandemic.
