Almost 84.5% of eligible Ontarians have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit show 83% of Simcoe Muskoka residents have had both shots.
But South Simcoe is pulling up the rear in the health unit with less than 78% of residents full vaccinated.
Four of South Simcoe five municipalities ranked in the bottom five for all of the 18 municipalities in Simcoe County:
11 Bradford West Gwillimbury 83%
14 Innisfil 81.5%
16 New Tecumseth 77.8%
17 Adjala-Tosorontio 73.9%
18 Essa 72.2%
Essa is not only last in the County but it only 51% of Essa residents between the ages of 18-29 have had both shots.
The lowest of any demographic in the County.
