Another scary reminder of what could be on our roads.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says a pick-up truck was stopped in Milton on Wednesday. When inspecting the vehicle, officers found improper plates, two broken rear springs (one missing as well), improper brakes, a bad tire, and it was overweight by 4600 kg.
As shown in the photo provided by officers on the Halton Police Milton/Halton Hills Twitter account, the truck was also towing a fairly large piece of construction equipment.
The plates were removed, the vehicle was towed, and the driver was charged.
