Remembrance Day is approaching and the Alliston Legion has been given permission to go ahead with their Poppy Campaign.
Legion Members and volunteers will be handing out poppy pins and military boots covered in poppies will be set up in area locations.
Funds collected through the Poppy Campaign go to Veterans and their families.
Tim Dougherty is the Chair of the Poppy Campaign for the Alliston Legion, he says they have tap boxes for those who no longer carry cash.

November 11th activities will be taking place as well this year.
Remembrance Day activities will take place at the Alliston Cenotaph on November 11th.
COVID forced the cancellation of both events last year.
