The Milton Menace have a winning record!
Playing in the 2021 OJHL Governors’ Showcase at the Cobourg Community Centre on Monday afternoon, the Menace beat the Pickering Panthers 6-4.
The game started strong for Milton: scoring three goals to start the first period. Justin Randhawa (assisted by Nicholas Wereha) scored 58 seconds into the game, Adam Tucci (Lucas Buzziol) scored 1:51 into the game, and Holden Rogers (Ryan O’Donnell and Tucci) made it 3-0 just before the four-minute mark. The Panthers scored late in the first to make 3-1 after one.
Pickering quickly tied the game in the second period before a Buzziol (O’Donnell) goal made it 4-3. Aidan Hughes (Thomas Gordon) scored shortly after to make it 5-3 after two.
The teams traded goals in the third with Menace winning 6-4. They’re now 4-3-2 on the season, last in the West Division, but sit middle of the pack across the league.
