Environment Canada has a special weather statement in place for Monday, October 25th.
It says that in addition to the rainfall that we’ve had so far, we are expected to get another 15-30 mm of rain by the end of the day. The total amount is anywhere between 30 – 50 mm of rain.
“Localized flooding in low lying areas is possible,” Environment Canada says in the statement. “When safe to do so, ensure storm drains are clear of leaves and debris to minimize flooding. This rainfall is due to a low pressure system that is forecast to track northeast across southern Ontario on Monday.”
