Here are the latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton.
Across Halton, there are 12 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 19,695. With 19,361 resolved cases and 242 deaths, Halton is now at 92 active cases, two less cases than Tuesday’s update. The Region says that of the 19,695 total cases, 19,007 were confirmed positive while 688 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have nine new cases. That keeps us at 6302 total cases. With 6223 resolved cases and 46 deaths, Milton is at 33 active cases, six more than Tuesday’s update. The Region says that of the 6302 total cases, 6061 were confirmed positive while 241 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is detailing the number of COVID-19 variant cases. It says that 6584 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2236 total variant cases.
The Halton Region has reported a new outbreak at a Milton school. The outbreak was first declared on Tuesday, October 12th. There are two cases being reported, both being considered ‘Halton’ cases, meaning the residents are from Halton. The outbreak is at Anne J. Macarthur Public School.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 880,322 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 790,332 of the doses were to Halton residents.
446,071 second doses have been administered in Halton. 398,937 of those have been Halton residents.

- 1,945 first doses and 1180 second doses are pending.
The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 76,682 first doses and 100,261 second doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,858 first doses and 10,021 second doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 343,711 first doses and 335,789 second doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
The Halton Region says that out of the 457,909 Halton residents who are immunized with two doses of the COVID-19, 0.12% of them have tested positive for the virus after vaccination. For Milton, there are 95,496 fully immunized residents – 0.12% of them have tested positive for the virus after vaccination.
