A driver in Milton has been charged after driving 58 km/h over the limit.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) appears to have stopped the driver along Tremaine Road in Milton on Wednesday night. The driver was going 128 km/h in a 70-zone. The driver received a stunt driving charge and the vehicle was impounded.
The HRPS says they post these cases on social media to bring awareness and then asks residents to slow down for everyone’s safety. “Stunt driving charges and 30 day impoundments are not a success story.”
128kph in a 70kph zone. We do these tweets to bring awareness and ask you to slow down for everyone’s safety. Please respect others on the road. Stunt driving charges and 30 day impoundments are not a success story. ^RD #1DRU #1Dtrafficsgt pic.twitter.com/7UUcVwx0RJ
