The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 10 new cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe in the last day (sep 28).
8 of those were in New Tecumseth, with Bradford West Gwillimbury and Essa having 1 each.
There were 14 in total in Simcoe County.
There are now 50 active cases in South Simcoe, up 7 since Tuesday (sep 28) with 5 people now in hospital which is unchanged.
The health unit still shows 85% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 79% fully vaccinated.
