Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) officers in Milton pulled over a vehicle near Woodbine Mohawk Park to inspect the items in the truck bed.
The HRPS says “The truck box had loose pieces of lumber, garbage and containers. No straps or other means of securement.”
A video was shared showing the stopped vehicle. It shows an officer speaking with the driver while the officer filming lifts and shifts the items in the truck bed. You see how loose everything is since nothing is tied down.
Looking at the comments, one person said “Fantastic stop! This definitely made our shared roads safer for all… Nicely done”
Another person referenced the film Final Destination 2, which features a horror scene on a highway in a similar manner. Someone responded saying that they thought the same thing.
The HRPS ends the tweet by saying “Please keep our roads safe. Take the extra time to secure all loose cargo / items before leaving.”
