The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has stopped a motorist for going 55 km/h over the speed limit in a local bus route.
The driver was stopped somewhere in North Halton. Their grey Nissan Sentra was caught going 115 km/h in a 60-zone, which just so happened to be on a route that school buses take to pick up students.
What makes this worse is this is the driver’s third stunt driving charge, with the HRPS saying “some people don’t learn.” The driver received a 30-day license suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.
115km/h in a posted 60km/h zone on a bus route this morning earned this driver a 30 day suspension and a 14 day vehicle impoundment. Also. This is their 3rd stunt charge for speed. Some people don't learn. #1dru #justslowdown ^DA pic.twitter.com/kXOqGB9KXB
