A Twitter user asked “What happens to this car after the towing is complete. Do the repairs have to be made to meet MTO standards and then returned back on the road ??”
The HRPS replied with “The vehicle is towed at the owner’s expense and the permit (ownership title) is moved to a ‘un-fit’ status . This will require the owner to get a new safety inspection certificate from a licensed mechanic before it can be properly plated again for the road.”
