Environment Canada says significant rainfall is expected by Thursday morning for Milton and the surrounding area.
The rain is expected to start Tuesday night / Wednesday morning and carry through Wednesday night, leading to anywhere between 40-60 mm of rain by Thursday morning.
“This rainfall is due to a cold front and a moisture laden low pressure system that will arrive from the American Mid-west,” says Environment Canada in the Special Weather Statement.
The forecast for the week (as of 5:00 a.m. Tuesday morning) is as follows:
