Alliston Lions Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides takes place this Saturday (sep 25) at the Lions Club on Boyne Street.
Jaime Karsch is a member of the Alliston Lions Club and Chair of the fundraiser.
She says it takes it takes about $35,000 to train a dog.
The entire process takes about 2 years and not all puppies pass the program.
Registration for the event Saturday starts at 10am, the walks starts at 11am and after they are having pizza.
