The losing ways continue for the Milton Menace as they look to get things cleaned up before the start of the regular season.
The team played the Burlington Cougars in preseason action on Sunday night, losing 4-2 to one of their Halton rivals.
Milton fell behind 1-0 early, but the team answered back with a goal from Graydon White halfway through the first period. Burlington quickly responded after that, going up 2-1 heading into the second period.
In the second frame, Burlington scored their third goal. Captain Menace Jordan Stock answered with a goal to give the team some life. It was assisted by Randhawa and Hughes. Burlington scored again and that was the game.
We’re inching closer to the start of the regular season on Friday, October 1st. The Menace will have a few more opportunities to get some in ice-time in the meantime. Milton plays the Toronto Patriots on Friday. It appears to be another home game at the Milton Memorial Arena, gametime scheduled for 7:30 p.m..
Not our night.
