Conservation Halton is hosting a fundraising event tonight.
The Terra Firma fundraiser is gathering money for projects and programs that protect the natural areas in our watershed, create opportunities to connect with nature, educate our children about the environment and inspire stewardship in our communities.
This year’s theme, Terra Firma, means “solid ground” in Latin and refers to the importance of soil in ecological restoration. All event proceeds will help support trail development and the continued restoration of Area 8. Tickets for Terra Firma are sold out.
The event is taking place at Conservation Halton’s Area 8, formerly known as Kelso Quarry Park, between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16th.
