The Milton Menace continue to announce returnees ahead of opening night.
Last week, the Menace welcomed back one of the best names in hockey, goaltender Forbes Andersen. The 17-year-old will bring both youth and experience to the team, playing in 22-games for the Menace back in the 2019-2020 season. Andersen managed just an .873 save percentage while going 6-10-1, but with an older team in front it’s exciting to wonder what the kid can do.

Another big announcement was made last week when the Menace announced the “return” of winger Andrew Horsley. He wasn’t a part of the inaugural season in 2019-2020, but was acquired by General Manager Dan Del Monte during the lengthy offseason. Read more on that trade here.
The 6’2″ power forward put up 34-points (18G, 16A) in 53-games with the Toronto Patriots in 2019-2020. That was a big jump from his seven-points in 54-games with the Georgetown Raiders the previous season. GMDM is hoping “Horse” can take another big jump in his development ahead of his age-20 season.

Most recently was the announcement of a top young player for the Milton Menace, Lucas Buzziol. He’ll be just 17-years-old for the entire regular season, coming off a point-per-game pace in 2019-2020 for the Menace (1GP, 1A). He’s had a good start so far, scoring in a pair of preseason games.
