An arrest has been made in repeated male flasher reports in Oakville.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says members of the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau arrested a male on Wednesday, September 1st. The arrest was made in relation to previously reported incidents of a male exposing himself to females in the area of the Morrison Creek trail system in Oakville. The unnamed male has been charged with:
- Criminal Harassment (9 counts);
- Indecent Act (7 counts); and,
- Exposure to Person Under Age of Sixteen Years.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
If you’re asking why the suspect’s name was not shared, the HRPS says “Due to a court ordered publication ban, the Halton Regional Police Service cannot provide further information regarding this accused.”
