A Milton man is $500,000 richer!
67-year-old Brian James won the money in the June 22nd LOTTO MAX draw. He says this is his first big win after playing for decades.
The retired warehouse worker couldn’t believe what he was looking at when he won. “I was looking at it, wondering if what I was seeing was right. I counted all the zeroes and realized I won $500,000!”
Brian went home right away to tell his wife about his big win. “She looked at it about five times before realizing what it was,” he laughs. “Then we called our family to share the good news!”
Brian plans to share his win with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. “I will also pay some bills, take a trip to Hawaii, and get a new puppy!”
The winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K on Steeles Avenue in Milton.
