The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is receiving reports of an unknown man who’s flashing his penis at unsuspecting women.
There are two reported incidents:
At roughly 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17th, a female was walking along the Morrison Creek Trail system in the area of Ravineview Way (Eighth Line and Upper Middle Road area) in Oakville. A male exposed his penis to the female as she walked past, then he changed direction and began following her. The female fled the area to a place of safety and reported the incident to police. The male was unknown to the female and there was no verbal interaction.
At roughly 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19th, a male (believed to be the same as the male in the previous incident), exposed his penis to a female on a residential street in the area of Golden Briar Trail and Glenashton Drive (Eighth Line and Upper Middle Road area) in Oakville. The female found a place of safety and reported the incident to police. The male was unknown to the female and there was no verbal interaction.
The 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau conducted an investigation for both incidents. That included a canvassing local area, obtaining victim statements, and collecting and analyzing CCTV footage. Through the course of this ongoing investigation, a description of the suspect has been obtained:
- Male
- Black
- Long black hair
- Approx. 20-27 years old
- Approx. 5’7” – 6’ in height
- Thin build
- Wearing a hooded shirt and dark shorts in both incidents
Anyone who encounters this individual or who has a similar experience is asked to leave the area immediately, go to a place of safety, and call 9-1-1.
Anyone who may have come into contact with the above suspect or who has information about other similar incidents is asked to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216. Additionally, the HRPS is appealing to anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam footage from the evenings of August 17th and 19th in the following areas:
- Ravineview Way (Eighth Line and Upper Middle Road area)
- Golden Briar Trail and Glenashton Drive (Eighth Line and Upper Middle Road area)
