The Town of Milton is getting set to start its summer asphalt work.
The 2021 expanded asphalt stabilization program (EAS) is scheduled to start in July. Locations included in this year’s program include:
- First Line Nassagaweya, from 28 Side Road to Arkell Road;
- Lawson Road, from Esquesing Line to 310m north of Steeles Avenue; and,
- 5 Side Road from Regional Road 25 to Peddie Road.
The Town says this program applies primarily to rural and industrial roads. Residents can expect things like:
- Road reconstruction;
- Shouldering enhancements; and,
- Driveway transitions.
Lane restrictions will occur daily from Monday, July 12th at 7:00 a.m. to Friday, September 3rd at 7:00 p.m.. Access to all residences and emergency services will be maintained during construction. Traffic delays are expected.
