UPDATE: Milton man facing charges in Milton shooting
Halton Police are at the scene of a Pizza Nova at Derry and Bronte after reports of gunfire shortly before 7 pm this evening. The Halton Police say that witnesses report that a lone black male entered a business and fired multiple shots from a long gun.
Halton Police tweeted that no one was physically injured as a result. This suspect fled the area in a black vehicle and remains outstanding at this time.
Halton Police say there is no public safety threat at this time.
The suspect is described as:
- Male
- Black
- Approximately 5’9” tall with a thin build
The suspect vehicle is described as:
- Black Mazda 3 (4 door) bearing Ontario plate CPXT541
Halton Police would also like to speak with anyone who witnessed this incident, or who saw the suspect fleeing the area.
