The Milton Farmers’ Market is rolling along smoothly.
It returned just a few weeks ago, and Milton Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Scott McCammon says it’s already busy as can be.
He adds that the Market is operating under the guidance of the Halton Health Department. Everyone is asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Fortunately, they fall under the same premise as a grocery store, so that’s why they were able to open during the recent stay-at-home orders.
Shoppers are able to show their support and interest by attending and spending money – but how do the vendors feel? McCammon says they’re loving the business.
If you feel uncomfortable attending a gathering like the Milton Farmers’ Market, they have carried over the curbside pick-up service that was implemented last year. You can shop online here.
The Milton Farmers’ Market is at the Milton Fairgrounds. It runs from 8:00 a.m. to noon each Saturday. Its last day will be on October 9th.
