NEW UPDATE:
We have a new update on a shooting in Kitchener that involved a Milton man.
On Wednesday, June 2nd, members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Unit arrested a 19-year-old man, a 22-year-old man, a 21-year-old woman and a 51-year-old woman, all from Kitchener, in connection to the shooting that occurred on Overlea Drive in Kitchener on April 22nd.
All four jointly face the following charges:
- Five counts of careless storage of firearm
- Five counts of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Five counts of firearm knowing it is unauthorized
- Two counts of possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition
- Tapering with serial number
- Possession for the purposes of trafficking suspected Psilocybin
- Possession of suspected Methamphetamine
The 19-year-old man and the 22-year-old man are also jointly charged with:
- Two counts of Aggravated Assault
The 19-year-old man is also charged with:
- Possession of suspected Crack Cocaine
The 22-year-old man is also charged with:
- Weapons Dangerous
- Firearms Trafficking
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Firearms
The circumstances surrounding what led up to the shooting remains part of the ongoing investigation.

A 27-year-old Milton man has been charged following a shooting in Kitchener.
The shooting happened in the Forest Hill neighbourhood last month. Three people suffered gunshot wounds, including the Milton man. A 26-year-old Brampton man was arrested following the shooting, with additional charges expected at the time.
Following an investigation, the unnamed Milton man has since been charged with:
- Break and Enter – with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence;
- Robbery with a Firearm;
- Aggravated Assault;
- Two Counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

A shooting in Kitchener put a Milton man in the hospital.
The shooting happened in Kitchener’s Forest Hill neighbourhood on Thursday evening. Waterloo Regional Police says it found the 27-year-old Milton man and a 19-year-old Kitchener man with gunshot wounds. A 26-year-old Brampton was also found with gunshot wounds.
All three males were transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with serious and critical injuries.
An investigation has led the Waterloo Police to believe that a group of individuals arrived in a vehicle and a home invasion occurred. Two males entered the residence and multiple firearms were discharged while inside the residence.
Two of the men at hospital are believed to be the males who entered the residence.
Police have arrested the 26-year-old Brampton man. Further arrests and charges are expected as the investigation is ongoing.
Investigators say this is a targeted shooting.
