A controversial decision was made by the Halton Catholic District School Board trustees.
They have voted against raising the Pride flag at its schools during Pride month in June.
Residents launched an online petition to gather support for raising the flag. The petition received social media support from Eugene Levy, and his two kids Dan and Sarah.

Despite the decision to not raise the flags, more than 17,000 signatures have been made.
