Today is Earth Day.
The Town of Milton has noted that it will be planting 600 trees this spring with its environmental partners Conservation Halton and Sustainable Milton. That’s on top of the 731 trees being planted in local streetscapes and parks.

You can do a few other things to help out the planet:
- Make an environmentally-friendly window sign sharing this year’s Earth Day theme #RestoreOurEarth
- Complete Milton’s Earth Day scavenger hunt;
- Use reusable bags and utensils;
- Cook a plant-based meal;
- Ride a bike;
- Use a reusable water bottle; and,
- Save electricity and turn off lights when you leave a room.
