The Milton Public Library will be increasing its hours on Sundays for its Sherwood and Main Street branches.
The MPL will soon be open to patrons for what it calls ‘full days’.
Starting on Sunday, May 9th, the following time changes will take effect:
- Main branch will be open from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.;
- Sherwood branch will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
“I am overjoyed that for the first time ever, we are able to open for full day Sundays, at Milton Public Library at both the Main & Sherwood branches,” says Mark Williams, Chief Librarian. “Doing so is in response to increasing demand, for our services, from our patrons. Being able to open full day on Sundays, within our existing operating budget is an even bigger win, and speaks to the ongoing efficiencies that continue to be realised in our service delivery model, without any negative impact on the customer service excellence provided by MPL’s staff.”
