This weekend is Easter and local churches will be virtual for their service.
That includes St. Paul’s United Church.
The Interim Pastor for St. Paul’s, Reverend John Smith, says the move to virtual has been a blessing in some ways during this pandemic.
He adds that everyone still misses the sense of community and family that church brings, but that will have to wait.
When looking at the story of Easter and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Reverend Smith says that residents could definitely find some inspiration to help get through the pandemic.
The St. Paul’s United Church Online Easter Service is taking place on Sunday, April 4th. It will be shown through the St. Paul’s YouTube channel from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
